From Monday to Fridays, there is the drop-off runs. In the beginning of the year, I must say, it was challenging because, the schedule for No.2 had changed, and I had to be sure of the time I had to drop him off at school. As it was, chasing the kids out of the house, and into the the car-bus (in short, cab), and with the kids chatter and the radio blasting out life insurance quotes ads, the cab driver (which would be me) would be more or less, always frazzled.
Since it was summer then, there were times, when I had forgotten to wear the matching flip-flops, yes, I have too many lying around. In various sizes too!
But, now, it’s all down to a routine, and I’m enjoying it. While the banter/singing of the kids do dominate the car, I do have my quiet moments, as I look out into the streets and see the gorgeous sakuras, all in pink, white, almost yellow and light pink. I’m not sure how I’m going to be like next year, when No.3 starts his kinder. I’m just going to savour the now.
