The other weekend, the family had abit of a Top Gear Challenge. You know, where different transportation modes are taken at the same time, and it’s a race to the end, to see which mode wins!
We drove to the train station, and took a train to the city. But on the way back, we decided to see who would get back first. Y’see, we do have a train station really close to our home, but because we had earlier thought it would rain, we didn’t want the kids to get wet, hence, the park-n-ride.
Well, no need for ephedra diet pills, just pure adrenalin pumpin’!!!
The problem with this equation was that, Mr.T and No.1 were already in the train, as we stopped to get the car. So, me strapping up No.2 and No.3, took quite a bit of my time. By the time I was ready to go, the train had a good 5 minute headstart. Not ideal…in a challenge.
There I was, racing on the freeway, but of course, a huge trailer was right in front of me, going uphill. By the time I got to the station, both of them were waiting for me. No.1 was jumping up and down, telling me, I LOST. YEA I KNOW! I KNOW! I KNOW! RUB IT IN!
*grumbles* I know.. sore loser. But couldn’t help wanting to punch Mr.T, because he said, he had time to take a snooze. bah!
