I hope that I’ll be able to bury this bad day I’ve had in this mountain of posts. I bumped a car today.
While waiting for No.1 to finish his tennis, I took up some catalogs and read about some hgh supplements,at the same time, going through the alphabets with No.2. I was actually very sleepy and honestly wanted to zzz off. When No.1 finished, he got into the car. I started the car, and looked out of the window. I saw two ladies and their 6 kids walking. As I slowly reversed the car, I was counting the no of kids, because I just didn’t want to hit any of them. I was also slowly reversing, just in case one of them decided to bolt and..well, lord should know, how I’d feel if I hit any kid!
So, I didn’t notice the car parked behind and bumped its bumper. The owner was one of the ladies, and she was quite.. well, shocked.
So was I. I profusely apologised and really felt bad. Honestly, there wasn’t any scratches or dent..because it was a just a bump. But, I told her to check if she could open her boot, she could. She said she couldn’t see any damage, but will have to check with her hubby. I’m still anxiously waiting for her call, it’s already 9pm. I doubt she’ll call me now. I wish she’d call me, just to tell me if I needed to compensate her or not.
What a heavy heart I have right now. I really feel bad for bumping her car. But at the same time, I just hope she won’t take advantage of the situation. I wish I took a picture of her bumper. Who knows what she would do. Luckily, there were witnesses. The other lady even said that the car bumper looked alright.
So…x those fingers, and hope that I won’t have to pay anything.
