The shower routine.
Here it goes. A real boring story.
My No.3 has a shower routine. I think it’s just the way he’s been going through it day after day after day, since the day he was born. I put the baby bathtub in the shower. I put a towel on the floor. I brush his teeth then, I tell him, “Spit it out!”. He promptly swallows it. Luckily, it’s baby toothpaste..so, not much weird stuff, well, at least I hope so.
I give him some water to gargle, and tell him to spit it out. But, he promptly swallows it. Again.
Then, we shake off the clothes (yea.. it’s a game!), and he sits in his bath. Where I literally spray him with water. He giggles with delight..every time the shower sprays into his mouth. Soap him, and shower off. Easy.
Then, lay him on the towel, dry off. Dab on some natural face cream, as his cheeks are pretty dry. And nappy on and PJs.
He looks forward to it everyday..I think he just enjoys playing with water!
