Bye bye dell

Before I moved here, I had a Dell. I was quite happy with it, it ran smoothly for a while, until I installed an anti-virus software. I purposely programmed it to run at times, when I wasn’t working on the PC. I knew that it would slow down the processing speed tremendously. Plus with photoshop and illustrator running simultaneously, it was a killer just waiting for the process to stop! PLUS! I really hated it when the Anti-Virus software reseller charges my credit card on an annual basis. I had to write to them 3 times, to stop it, since I gave my Dell to my Father-in-Law.

I didn’t know that there was even an antivirus software that wouldn’t slow down your PC. Did you? Apparently, this software is fantastic inĀ  their all-new technology: antivirus + antispyware engine. It also has an advanced anti-rootkit technology, but I think the best bit of all? The fact that it doesn’t ever automatically charge you on a yearly basis. How cool is that?

But.. now that I have a Mac. I tried to check if there was a Mac version. But for some strange reason, I couldn’t find it anywhere in their website. I wonder, if there was a Mac version, it would work exactly like the PC version? Because I still don’t want my Mac to slow down, just to handle this extra application! As it is, I’ve got too many things running at the same time. :D I love my Mac!
