Ok, summer time, I used to dread summer time. But this year, I’ve been liking it. Quite a bit.
Not so good for the skin, but oh-so-good for the soul! You see the beach, you feel calm. You sit down on your mat, feel the sand, feel the breeze, smell the salt in the air. The sky so blue, the waters so clear (but cold). Your kids just dive into the water, and you kick back… with a drink in your hand, watching them.
It is highly relaxing. It is relaxing because… I don’t have to wear some silly 2 piece suit. I don’t have to suck in my jelly belly (praying that some tretinoin will drop onto my lap). Btw, that helps in reducing cellulite. I just don’t have to pretend to be some beach babe. I don’t have to do any housework. I can’t think of anything else, but look at the view in front of me.
I take my photographs of my happy lot and I’m happy. I fiddle with the camera..wondering why can’t I shoot some fantastic shots? But.. it doesn’t matter..because I just need to fiddle more.
So yea.. I like going to the beach. It’s relaxing. We should get a beach house. Yea.. summertime.
