Are you considering Outer Banks rentals? No, of course not. Why would you. The interest rates in Australia is going one way. Up up and away! I can’t tell you how much landlords are happy to pass on the costs to tenants. But I can tell you that tenants won’t be too happy. As it is, money is already so tight..and most people are living from day to day. Let’s not talk about the Xmas splurge and then the Boxing Day madness. I know it seems like lots of people are spending money like water..but the reality is, we are all living from day to day.
We love to buy things to make us happy. But in reality, once the purchased product is in our home, we discard it, like a well worn shoe. Problem is, it’s not even broken in yet. The very idea of buying something new always makes one happy. But it’s a short-lived one.
I wonder….. what would truly make humans happy. Self-fulfillment?

What you say is so true. Sometimes people just buy things to feel the adrenalin rush of owning some new swanky things. So that is why this year, I made up my mind not to buy anything new at all unless it is a life and death matter.
