Alaskan holiday?
My uncle asked me if I was ever thinking of going for a holiday to Alaska, to forget about it. I should just consider our neighbouring country, NZ. He just finished a 15 day trip, on a RV, with two families.
He travelled all over the place without a single rv breakdown, which made me marvel at his achievements. In his RV, there was a shower area, gas cooking stove, 4 beds, a place to eat and even a DVD TV set. The 3 kids had a whale of a time, even though it was raining like cats and dogs, as they traversed through the lands.
They saw many beautiful places and one thing that struck their heart most, was climate change. They could literally see alps melting away. What was once sheet white ice..all water. No thanks to global warming.
Given a chance, I’d still want to go there and see all this for myself. There’s nothing like experiencing it first hand.
