If you haven’t already known (or maybe you really don’t!), I’m going to have a new neighbour. I have the privilege of knowing who it will be!
My sister-in-law!
I’m a little excited for her, as buying a new home is always a start of new beginnings. Although she worries about the growing finances, needing to buy white goods, fixing up the bathrooms and kitchen, she is very excited in getting a new flat panel TV.
Y’see, my TV…is the really old fashion one (yes…the huge TV box…very very very retro now). I asked her if she’ll be mounting the TV on the wall. She told me she didn’t want to spoil the wall…so, she’ll be getting a stereo cabinet, to place her brand new 40″ TV.
I really am happy for her. She will be able to see all her beloved korean dramas in big screen now. No more laptop viewing.
She is also thinking of repainting her kitchen cabinets, as a way of saving costs. But, as the same time, she’s stripping carpets and replacing it with floor boards..which might be very expensive. Two other expensive jobs include renovating the toilet AND replacing all the lighting.
To me…those two are essential! To live comfortably, one needs favourable lightings…and of course, a very super new throne!
I guess….. she will definitely will be thinking how else to save costs now. Heh… no more gym memberships, perhaps?
