Today.. I renewed my car rego. Now, I am shameless when it comes to getting discounts. I knew that car rego renewals are discounted for people who hold health care cards.

I happily queued up and waited to pay. Guy at the counter checks my health care card. On it, has my three sons’ names as well. Now, having chinese names, is unique, but has its’ problems in this ang-moh land.
He laughed and laughed and asked me, if I was serious, naming my 3 kids, the same names. I just shrugged and say, “Hey..it’s really easy to call them down for dinner”. The other lady at the counter said they could have problems when they are old enough to receive mails.
Yea? I’ll let them sort it out, not my problem. Even if the mail comes from AED…whoever that is.
