Yessss…I’m counting down. Autumn will come in 7 more days. It’s been a lil nippy lately, not seriously cold, just nice. But, today I had to do a double take when I saw this lady with her walking boots, and a striped jacket. It was seriously weird, like cowboy gear with prison togs gone wild.
I’ve often wondered why people would consider buying striped jackets. Then again, I’ve heard that shoulder pads are making a comeback? *groans* What’s next? Pallazo pants? I really was hoping the 80s fashion stayed buried as deep as the dinosaur bones.
Anyway…back to my topic. I’m welcoming Autumn because I’ve had enough of the crazy summer weather. It’s been really really hot, then it’s been really really cold. At least with Autumn, you won’t get really really hot weather. I used to love the heat. I used to like the tropics. But, now, I’m not so sure. I’m beginning to embrace the cooler weather… only because it makes my kids sleep easier. The sun sets early…and rises pretty late too (around 6.30ish). I have to admit… it helps me sleep better too. Ah…. well, the bad thing about the cooler weather is one just wants to eat more rich and hearty food!

Ahh, autumn! Here we will have it in about 6 months again… Now we’re expecting the spring and looking out for some warmer weather and sun sun sun! I wish it was hot here… I’m sick of putting on so many layers of clothes and taking my umbrella and gloves with me all the time!
