Don’t be fooled when you think of summer in Australia. Well, particularly, Melbourne.
Anywhere else in Australia will be experiencing hot summery days, but not in Melbourne. Can you believe the temperature dropped down to 13C last night? Unbelievable!
It’s always so difficult for me to pack up my winter stuff, and trust me, I haven’t been able to successfully do so. My kids’ closets are completely jammed pack! Imagine, I have to have on hand winter wear AND summer wear. The space saver bag I bought has not even been touched yet, simply because I can’t seem to pack my doonas’ away!
I’m so glad I’m wearing my North Face Base Layer on today. With this “4 seasons-in-a-day” weather, where it’s cold in the mornings, but warm in the afternoons, it’s a good thing that this garment is light enough on warm times, and I just need to layer it up with a jumper on cooler times.
That being said, I love it in Melbourne. I don’t think I’d like to live in Brisbane…where it’s just humid and hot there!
