Since Mr.T will be back for Xmas, we are all naturally very excited. It’s been ages since the kids and I seen him and I know the kids really miss their da-ad. When I talked to him, he suddenly mentioned that we should go somewhere. I thought that was a great idea…until, I found that, that over here, everyone plans their holiday wayyyy in advance.
I mean, if you wanted to go for a holiday say in Las Vegas, US, you’d have to find bookings for a hotel in las vegas at least 6 months in advance. HA HA..ok, just kidding. But, over here, everything is all fully booked. Those that are not booked, well, have a really high peak rate. Too expensive.
Sigh….now, I’m only going to consider cheaper alternatives, like picnics and beaches. I’d have to start planning for next year’s Xmas hols. WOW….talk about kiasu!

No matter where you spend your holidays, the most important is that everyone can get together mah. I’m sure if you stay at home, you and your kids would be happy too cause you get to spend your time with your hubby and the kids get to spend their time with their daaaaaaad!

Have made plans to go to the beach (PD) this school hols…First time going away for hols with a baby. Never dared to venture out when the fisrt 2 were babes…ha ha. Routine and familiarity is key to my sanity too. Oh! thinking of the things to pack is making me stressed…KIV first laa…
Forgot to add..kudos to you for being mum, dad, chef, cleaner, sitter, driver, handyman etc.etc..all in one. Hang in there girl…
Think not so much of the hotels…but more of the flights out. Yeah?
