Me : Upset’s when you are unhappy. Not happy.

Me (laughing already) : Maybe it’s when you’re too happy!

This is a funny one! hahaha! In the end, does he know the meaning of upset?
You should do a demonstration to show what upset is. You could set the table and show him that it is upset, then smash all the dishes down and completely destroy it and tell him that is the opposite of set, upset. The same goes for humans sometimes we look nice and have everything the way we want, we are set. Then someone comes along and smashes all your dishes and makes you upset. Perfect analogy.
