Last night… my No.3 woke me up three times. So, in the morning, I’m normally on auto-pilot. So, there I was, preparing everybody for school, when No.1 yells at me, (I think for the 5th time) “Mu-um, today is Friday and there’s no school today!!!!”.
Finally, I snapped out of auto-pilot mode and look at their school’s newsletter. Well, whadaya know…. it’s true! On 12th Sept 2008, it’s their ‘staff development day’!! For some reason, I kept thinking next week was the ‘off’ day. Luckily, he had the sense to yell it into my ear..or, I wud’ve been one of the dumbest (ass) mums driving like crazy to school…only to hear the birds chirpin’.
So…what will I do now? No.1, No.2 and No.3 all at home.
I released No.1 and No.2 into the garden.
..and this is what happened.
They felt pretty bad after stomping around and destroying what’s left of my ginger plants, so they decided to ‘plant’ me some camelias…to make up for it.
Heh… For boys, they sure know how to melt a mama’s heart. Or rather, soften the blow.
Maybe I should tell them that Mama would really like some Amazon books for Xmas. Heh!
