I remember when I went to for beach holiday with my two lil flers. I was eyeing the hammock chair. How I longed to sit in one of those, reading my book and dozing off, just to wake up for dinner or a snack.
How I longed to relax.
I couldn’t even relax then. I had to run after my kids, shower them, feed them. That was no holiday. It still felt like I was a working mom.
I’m kinda glad that I waited a couple of years before I had kids. I had alot of those lazy hazy days. Days when I was free from my obsessive compulsiveness of following a routine.
I just want two to three days of doing nothing. Just relaxing. Recharging all my batteries. Getting massaged. Eating all my curries. Getting my hair done.
And knowing that my boys are taken care of very well. That would make it my perfect holiday.

wow mott, how many kids do you have altogether. i have only 2 and i feel like a dozen. i gather you have 3? kao tao to you.
ya way before i had kids, i also love my weekends. can just watch tv fr morning to night. now i pay for cable TV but i only get to watch nick jr channels or the disney channels. paying for premiums with all that hbo channels for nothing..sigh
perhaps thats what they meant, the joy of having kids. we are suppose to be finding our own childhood again? by playing with them, watching kids’ shows and eating McDonalds and KFC everyother weekend!!! hehehehe
why do ppl say life starts at 40? i don’t see any difference…. yet! LOL
