Moved!
How many times have I moved, in the last 6 years? 5 times. My cornell plates have been moving along with me. The first couple of times, I did it on my own. But the last big move I had, I called in the experts. After all, it’s international shipping and I couldn’t bear for my plates to be broken! They were all professionals, and handled all my glassware and china with delicate care.
I’m glad that I decided to call in professionals instead of doing it myself. When I moved over to Australia, I was devastated to find that some of my boxes were damaged. As you know, there was a great big flood in December and some of my boxes were waterlogged. Luckily, I had bought insurance and while it took some time to claim, it eventually came through.
I think if I had done it by myself, I’d be kicking myself. Hard.
