Selling a home during winter

by mott on July 8, 2008

Most home sellers only prefer to sell during the summer/spring season, simply because of the weather. It makes sense to sell then. But there are people who want to sell their house, due to financial constraints or personal reasons. But, to do that, one has to ensure that the house is in tip-top shape before allowing buyers to view your place. One can start by putting dehumidifiers in the basement area, where there are a lot of moisture collected during winter. This moisture can lead to mold growth and dust mite proliferation. If one is not careful, buyers can immediately spot mold/mildew growth and there goes your potential sale!
