I couldn’t believe it when I read that TiVO was coming to Australia. The Seven Network has decided to bring it in, just before they broadcast the Beijing Olympic Games! It’s going to be retailed for about 5XX for the box, and there’ll be a small subscription fee to pay. Since I don’t have Foxtel, I’m wondering if its worthwhile getting TiVo, since Mr.T is into watching Aussie Football and his sister enjoys watching all the latest series but don’t have time to watch.
As you know, TiVo allows you to ‘pause’ a live game…or it allows you to save a movie or show, so that you can watch at a time more suited for you. But my problem is….. since we might be sharing the cost of purchasing the box, but how does one maintain fractional ownership over it? I mean, in the event, she moves out….how will we split the box up?
