I wrote about my growing garden here, and today we found an unexpected find. See, not only are we growing stuff, but we are also creating our very own compost. Anything that is of organic waste, we’d dump it into our lil garden.
Part of this organic waste are carrots. The tops and the skin.
Today, we found this lil green sprout..and lo behold! It’s a carrot! Who would have thought? Rubbish can grow out to be food! I’m sooooo looking forward to what this lil sprout will bring.
Now….I wonder if I can plant potatoes now…since it is a wintery plant!
