“PINK!”

photohunters

I had yet another tough time looking for this week’s Photo Hunter’s Theme.

Being a tom-boyish Mama…with 2 boys…it’s hard to find anything pink in my house. Actually, there is..my hub has a couple of pink shirts…butttttttttttttt..I won’t go there.

Here’s something I’ve had for 2 years. Can anyone tell me what the original colour was? Can u believe it was my sweat that made it change colour!

Pls see the comments for the answer..Hee hee…

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!!! Thanks to Bengbeng…… I remembered this “PINK!” item in my very neglected garden!!!!!!

The blooms of a cactus plant..given to me by my dearest friends’ mom. Sad to say, I really neglected this plant because…….

1) It’s Thorny…..

and 2) I stupidly planted it at an obscure corner.

But today, I noticed it’s blooms! For a neglected plant…it sure is beautiful!!!!!!!! ;-)

Ooooo..can anyone tell me, why the last picture looks like I shot it in the dark..when it is actually super bright and sunny? I zoomed in…quite a fair bit on this shot.

I guessed that the glasses were blue so looks like I was right. Fun post for the pink theme and a lovely plant you have. Sometimes they like to be left alone so maybe that’s why it’s done so well. Happy weekend.

That plant is called Euphorbia. It has many different colors, even yellow green. Have a post here about that which I wrote early this year:
