Who will win the Rugby World Cup?
Right now, it’s reached the Semi-Finals. I’m no fan, trust me. I am no fan.
When it was playing four years ago, I was like, “Whatever”. In fact, I am super surprised that it’s taken this long to reach the Semis. According to my sometimes Rugby fan, Mr.T, he mumbled something about the preliminaries taking a long time.
He also gives me a brief history on why the All Blacks are the ever-favourite, but I think they’ve only won the Rugby World Cup like once. The Wallabies, on the other hand, at least won it twice.
Anyway, I watched the replay match of NZ-FR.. I think I know why they didn’t win. Their jerseys’ are wayyyyyyyyyyy too tight. If I ever wore a shirt, which squeezes my biceps like a ba-chang…I’d lose feeling in my hands. Mr.T believed that it was because Adidas did a crappy job. Then again, he’s a very loyal Nike fan. He swore that if the All-Blacks went with Nike…they would’ve won the World Cup, easily.
How did fashion mish-mash with sports? It always does. And I think this time, everyone’s jerseys’ may be eye-candy for all the spectators…but I really pity the players. Who would like to be a ba-chang? Even a ketupat has breathing space!
