Nowadays, one doesn’t necessarily have to join reality TV shows to be a super singing star. In fact, did you know that there was a really famous Ad that was never ever shown live on TV. But it was downloaded gazzillions of times online? I tell you, word spreads real fast, when you’re online.
In fact, there are some pretty famous singers who launched their videos online first, then only on TV. It is a very interesting phenomenon but, more and more people are hooked online than they are to the TV! I am personally waiting for an Asian face to appear, because I think Asia has a lot of talent. Even though there is a language barrier, I always feel that music should always overcome such barriers! If anyone heard Sheila Majid sing, you’ll instantly fall in love with her smoky voice!
For now? I like Sheri Miller’s “Waste my Breath”…I’ve always like clean, acoustic music. In fact, anyone who has a similiar type of voice like Sharleen Spiteri from Texas, gets my ears…anytime!
