WHY NO UPDATES?????!!!!

Posted on September 13, 2007

I promised myself, yesterday, I’ll dedicate the whole afternoon to updating my kids’ blogs. But then, flickr was out..or rather, the upload tool couldn’t connect successfully. So…. decided to pass out.

How convenient.

Today, it’s supposed to be done. Perhaps tonight. Because the lunch I just wolfed down, is now making my eyelids heavy.

Actually, much has happened during my “passout” moments. I haven’t been exactly truthful and have been doing quite a bit of constructive things. After all, I have to act heroic once in a while, right?

I sold my house. I managed to find a great agent. She’s fantastic! Within 3 days of viewing, this man wanted desperately to buy my house for his daughter. Why? Because his entire clan lived around my area..and when you live in my area…you get stuck..and really can’t get out. I think the daughter tried to get out and moved to the other side of the city….but dear ol daddy won’t hear any of it…and put down his 2% as the deposit.

Here’s the thing…. he is NOT going to pay for dear ol daughter. Wants her to carry the responsibility of house ownership on her shoulder.

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Here’s the problem… she’s never seen the house. I betcha this, she flew to the top of the roof at her dad for committing to buying something she’s never laid eyes on. Was she ready to buy? Judging from the delayed response I’m getting (read : I have yet to get my remainder 8%, after 1 month)…..I’d say, she’s not ready.

Her family has been bugging me one at a time to view the house. Once, he brought his entire clan (without his daughter) to view my house, this before they committed themselves. I gotta tell you, I felt violated, they opened up all my cupboards! Imagine, my undies for the public’s viewing.

Hey! I’m no Martha Stewart…I don’t colour coordinate my undies, and I don’t exactly fold them neatly!

Sigh..so, that’s one of the things I’ve been up to. Selling my house, and now chasing for my money.

If you only knew the other stuff I’ve been doing…think u’ll all pengsan (faint). A preggie mom should not be doing stuff like that…….esp, not during the Chinese Ghost Festival Month!!!!!!!

Yeah many people would have the thick face to snoop around and ransack your most personal things in the house.

Hi M–selling your house is a very BIG thing! Not so easy to sell a house—congrats to you (smile)!

Don’t understand why they must kaypoh and look inside the cabinets. Sheeeesshhh..!

Didn’t you sign a sales contract? If they don’t pay the remaining 8%, you can confiscate the downpayment for not completing the sale and maybe sue them for the difference if you sell at a loss later.

I hate people opening my cabinets and cupboards too. that’s too rude.

I hate the house selling process. I am trying to sell a house too and i am getting tired of the house viewing process. Had a family who came 3 times, detailed inspections and still no offer to buy! Waste my time only.
