Pat the Tummy

by mott on September 7, 2007

Ever since people know of my pregnancy (again..she’s talking about it AGAIN? *groans*), they like to do one thing.

Pat my tummy.

Mind you, I’m not even touching three months yet. And yet, I have a tummy. Yes, actually, I’ve had this tummy for two years.

When I actually tell people, “Errrm… this is not the ‘bump’. It’s just really fat, gas and fecal matter. The real feotus is under it. ” I can immediately see a slight recoil in their hands, their disgusted look in their eyes and their bumbling apologies…for actually ‘molesting’ me.

Sigh…. what can I say? People…… don’t get too frisky with any pregnant woman. Not everyone likes to be touched, especially on her gassy fat tummy! It’s not like rubbing on Buddha’s fat tummy yea… you won’t win any lottery from mine!

Sorry..still so grumpy, coz the nausea thing HAS not passed through yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I had Jaymes, I had morning sickness for 6 months! I couldn’t eat much, even drinking plain water made me nauseous. I drank a lot of Lucozade, recommended by the gynae, it helps me a lot. Now whenever I feel nauseous, I drink a glass of it. I also ate Jacobs cream crackers. The square biscuits. maybe you can try.

hmm…they don’t have lucozade here, but got gatorade…same same right???
