A birthday..

Thought I’d better blog this down..while I still remember it.

One day before Merdeka’s will be Mr.T’s birthday. As long as I can remember.. ok, ever since I stopped working (i.e., also to say, had kids), I have never gotten him a gift.

So bad, huh? Aiya..what to do? No money mah…all the money is all spent on kids, food and home.

So, last month, I worked ‘hard’. Note influx of sponsored posts.  I thought I gila gila wanted to get him a present la, via internet. He likes many basketball related items, which are not readibly available here…..so, there I was dreaming of getting for him something via eBay or something la.

But… when I found out I was preggers…. every idea flew out of the window la. Suddenly, my brain stopped working. My fingers got real tired after typing 50 words.

Anyway, yesterday, I mati-mati went out to heart of KL…on the pretense of closing my accounts. Actually, I did la. But since I was doing it at a place which I knew I can get good deals on handphones, I decided to get him one la.

Hee hee… I’m so cheapskate tho. It only costed me less than USD40.

At least it’s brand new la. Also, there is a story behind why he deserves a new phone la. See ah..he threw his phone in anger a few days ago. Coz he was working real late…(on a Saturday) and had to call me to tell me that he couldn’t make it home on time, for dinner. I was feeling like shit already, so all I did was slam down the phone.

So he threw the phone in anger because he felt so bad he couldn’t help me out.  See…. he’s a grumpy old man..but he’s quite a sweet grumpy old man. He had to tie up his phone with someone’s tie-band…and when I heard about it…I felt soooo bad.

So, I mati-mati got him the phone. Even tho cheap..at least it’s brand new, and it doesn’t need a tie-band.

So, Mr.T… you better take care of that cheapass phone..coz, I don’t know if I can afford to get you another.. WAKAKAKAKAKAKAAKAKAKAKAK!!!

    hey motty, i think your hubby and mine can get along VERY well leh… grumpies, oldies, semi-recluse. AND wilkin’s bday is TWO days before merdeka! hahahahahhaa….. i donno wat to get for him.. sob sob!

    ah..what a coincidence? but he bukan anak malaysia la…ha ha ha ha

    Wah…USD 40 is less than RM 160 wor.. What kind of phone is that? Pity you preggie…otherwise you can give him a FREE pressie that he will definitely like. *wink* *wink*

    Wow, that’s quite cheap for a brand new hp but I guess prices of hp are getting more competitive nowadays. Btw, Ryan’s birthday is on the same day as your hubby.

    I wonder what it is with handphone.
    Of the nurses and their bf(s), I already knew 5 of them who throw their handphone to vent their anger.
