So in love.
Posted on June 24, 2007
Oh boy..I am.
This morning, I fell deeply in love. With a man. Not some repairman, not some electrician, not some painter. Why are they all tradesmen?
This man. Jack Johnson.
In our house, we play alot of music. A LOT. In the afternoons, you’ll find us doing the crazy bogey..I have to find something that will knock out the kids later!
Some may say he sounds like John Mayer. But John Mayer sounds a bit too schmaltzy for me already.
Jack’s sounds are cleaner, deeper and very relaxing.
Here is part of the lyrics from the song, “The Sharing Song”..
“If you’ve got two drumsticks
Give one to your friend
Make one beautiful rhythm
Share a beat that never ends
And if you’re feeling lonely
Share time with your mom
Share some milk and cookies
And sing the sharing song”
and it is from this album…
yea..it’s supposed to be for kids. Ha!
Anyway, here’s a sample playlist for y’all to listen to. Enjoy it.
I’m not sure if it’s sold “openly”. But if you get your hands on it..play it in your car. You cannot get mad on the roads!
