This tag actually left me sweating buckets. Why? Because my kids..they don’t have it easy. They don’t have easy peasy Engrish names. Mr.T, being the typical cinaman (no typo error there) .. wanted only CHINESE names. Adamantly REFUSED to have any ENGRISH (yes…typo there) names.
I protested weakly..”But you have an English name….why..WHY can’t our kids have one????”
Ok..I’ve always wanted one ever since I was a kid…yea..I’m the ingrate daughter stuck with a very short chinese name.
“NO!”. And, that was that.
Getting this tag..like I mentioned earlier made me sweat buckets, literally, because I was hunting high n low for their Chinese Names. I wrote it down somewhere……..I should have written it at the back of the BirthCert….DAMMIT! WHY DIDN’T I LISTEN TO THAT SMALL VOICE IN MY HEAD???!!!!!!
I can’t find it. I don’t want to delay this tag anymore. After all, this hot mama and another hot mama are already waiting for one very OUTSTANDING one already!

Firstly..it was given to my Father In Law to chose. No such thing as generation name…in this family. So..this dear man, chose his name simply because this same named man was the first Chinese Physicist to win a Nobel Prize. Or something along those lines la. Apparently, if you name your child after a genius…he WILL be a genius. Or so we tell ourselves. *ahem*
Anyway, this BananaMama got some expert in the Mandarin Language (don’t play play..she’s a mandarin language teacher) to write up a powderful name. And so we have it…

Surname - don’t know what it means
First name - I think it means person who advances forward
Second name - I think it means tomorrow.
Oh..who knows???? I’m a BananaMama..I don’t know, I may be dead wrong. After all, I lost that piece of paper!!!!!!!!!!!But if you do…..please place your comment here.
For the No.2… Surname and First Name is the same. Second Name… please don’t look at me anymore… I don’t deserve to be their mother. I only know how to shout at them…..*sobs uncontrollably* All I know is that I was the one who thought of his second name..and I’m really proud of it.
If I ever find that piece of paper..I’ll put it up in their individual blogs…but for now…I think it’s considered I’ve done my homework tag. *sobs…walking away*

Me a bananarama too. I only learnt how to write my son’s name after he turned one,…and I also had trouble explaining how to people the meaning of my son’s name when he was younger…*paiseh*
